The Dam Site offers:

WELCOME CENTER

Information, displays, and pictures from the construction of the dam. Small gift shop. Friendly staff will be happy to answer questions about the area. Reserve or check in to rooms here.

LODGE

Hotel styled rooms in historic building with porch overlooking Elephant Butte Lake.

CASITAS

Lakeside cabins offered in different configurations including kitchenettes. Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps.

HOUSES

Cozy two-bedroom houses with kitchens located in a quiet canyon near the lake. Available for long and short-term stays.

RV PARK

Secluded and shady RV Park with both 30 AMP and 50 AMP hookups.

MARINA

Covered and uncovered slips, store, and kayak / stand-up paddleboard rentals on Elephant Butte Lake.

Marina Vista is a family-owned management company responsible for overseeing operations at the Dam Site Historic District. Taking over in May 2024, we have exciting plans for the area’s future.
